Formation and Focus

Ceramic kamado style grills are one of the hottest selling and fastest growing parts of the barbecue industry. We know that the kamado market in the US is what it is today because of the efforts and promotion done by hundreds of specialty dealers. The Saffire line is designed to support the dealer's position in the marketplace. As competition increases in this category, Saffire grill is positioned to keep its dealers on the cutting edge with the most innovative designs, features, accessories and marketing support.

High Quality Ceramics

We are very confident of our ceramics. We have really put them to the test! The grill has been tested through the winter with repeated and severe, rain-snow-freeze-thaw cycles. Even after pouring water on the interior ceramics and letting them freeze at below zero temperatures, we had no problems. We also ran the temperature past 1100 degrees by using a large amount of charcoal and dry kindling. The flames were shooting out the chimney. After 45 minutes of this, we shot a stream of cold water onto the exterior and interior surfaces of the grill. No cracks or problems. We're still using that same model for cooking and demonstration purposes a year later.

Stainless Steel Hardware, Cart, Cooking Grid, and Accessories.

Long life - long warranty - good looking - high value - Justifies a higher price than painted steel. What isn't ceramic or bamboo is stainless steel. This is all high grade, Austenitic type of stainless steel with chrome and nickel alloys. It is mostly composed of type 304 stainless steel with type 202 on the cart. The Top Damper Control is made of a very heavy duty Cast Stainless Steel. Another “first” in the kamado business.

Hinged Access Door

The access door in the cooking grid gives you access to adjust your coals or to add wood chunks or charcoal.

Smokin' Chip Feeder

The second way to add wood chips is by the patent pending "Smokin' Chip Feeder". A stainless steel channel and pusher tool feeds the chips through a port right into the fire. This allows you to add wood chips without opening the grill at all.

  • No chips stuck in the cooking grid.
  • No chips in your food.
  • No hands in the flame.

Even if your customer doesn't purchase the optional feeder accessory, they will like knowing they can add it at any time. The port on the grill with the stainless steel access cover is included on every Saffire Grill.

Sturdy Cart ("Setting")

The tubular stainless steel is extra sturdy and lightweight. A wide wheel base also gives it a balanced feel and ease in moving.

Bamboo Side Shelves

Brackets are preinstalled from the factory. No assembly time! They include stainless steel tool hooks on one side and a stainless steel towel bar on the other. The Cart and side shelves are included in the box. A separate model is sold without the cart or shelves and includes ceramic feet and a stainless steel heat deflector. This allows it to be safely located on a wood surface.

Granite Tops

The granite top on the wood cart is gorgeous and your customers can really fall in love with it. We have 3 choices of granite that go well with the color of the grill and most wood finishes. They're fabricated in our own facility and may include other colors that would be quoted by the job.

Features to make your life easier

Pre-assembled Grill Head.

  • The side shelves just drop into place.
  • Our stainless steel cart comes in 4 pieces with the wheels pre-attached.
  • With an assembly time of about 10 minutes your assembly time is cut by 50% to 75%!
  • Total assembly is about 15 minutes.

Bands will not slip off the grill!

Our design incorporates a ceramic bead on both sides of the bands that hold the grill together. This prevents the bands from slipping off the ceramic top or bottom when lifting or moving the grill. Now you can lift your grill by the hinge or preassembled side shelf brackets when needed.

Ingenious Box Design

With the Saffire Grill you will no longer have to lift your grill out of its box or cut, tear and mutilate the box/crate in order to remove the grill. When the plastic bands are removed from the Saffire package, the top and each side of the box (1/2” thick cardboard!) lift out individually. This makes it easy to stack them neatly nearby, ready for easy removal.

Our accessories are all individually boxed at this time with the exception of the cooking grid elevator.

Good Profit Margins

Any pricing on the internet must be at, or above, the Suggested Retail Price. This leaves room for local dealers to have a good markup on their grills.

Marketing Support

One of the strengths we have to offer you is our extensive background and resources in media advertising. We will use these resources to help you promote the Saffire Grill, and your own store, through your desired media. This includes pre-made ads and segments for TV - radio - extensive photos - artwork and templates for print - professional point of sale materials - Internet promotions and web pages.

Warranty Summary

All ceramic parts that fail to operate properly due to manufacturing defects will be replaced free of charge for 20 years. All stainless steel parts are covered for 10 years.

Any part of the grill that gets broken for any reason, including operator error and accidents, will be provided at half price for the lifetime of the grill to the original owner.

Shipping charges are not covered by the warranty.
